Before, blogging was just a pastime for me – posting some funny and nonsense stuffs. December 2008, I accidentally visited Cebu Bloggers Society website and was interested to join the elite group. I submitted my application and waited for somehow a long time. I was formally became a CBS member by Febuary of 2009. And I was so “ATAT” to join meetings and gatherings during those times, but unfortunate enough because “SAGABAL ang” school. LELZ!
Peru starting sa Maribago Blowout, I somehow became active especially with the events. I started to feel proud of being a member of CBS, but as time went by, the fire in me was about to off.
Yeah! Buhi pako… klaru ana! wahahha! Member pa japun ko. Pasalamat ko ug daku nga wala ko g-boot sa mga dagkung tae sa CBS bisan inactive ko. Thanks guys!
And now, a milestone has achieved! Two years nah! Still growing, and is becoming more visible especially in Cebu as it continues to promote Cebu and its best! Kudos CBS!

In two years, blogging in Cebu has ripened from just being a mere online diary to something that takes an active role in civic and social awareness.
One of the factors that contributed to this positive development in the blogging scene in Cebu is the creation of a local blogging community.
The Cebu Bloggers Society was founded on February 14, 2008, with the main goal of uniting Cebu-based bloggers into a well-bonded community. And indeed, after its creation, individuals with diverse backgrounds but with a common interest, which is to promote Cebu and advocate blogging as a key tool for progress, converged together to establish Cebu’s first and largest blogging community.
The Cebu Bloggers Society has really grown and evolved quite significantly. From its humble beginnings, the group presently has at least 80 members and the number is still bound to increase further.
