At this point of time, 2010′s MEGAFIGHT to be between the pound-for-pound Champion Manny Pacqiuao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is canceled.

The Golden Boy Promotions, Mayweather’s promoter, had a press release stating that the said bout for this 2010 is vaguely to happen after Pacqiuao refused the Olympic-style drug test.

When Top Rank boss Bob Arum, Pacqiuao’s promoter, knew this one, he was very disappointed and spread publicly that he is ready to find another one to bout the Pinoy boxer superstar for the March 13 fight.

“The plug is pulled. The fight is off as far as we’re concerned,” this is according to Arum during the interview by USA Today.

Mayweather (40-0, 25KO) stressed that Pacqiuao should go the process of the Olympic Style drug test to be done in US Anti-Doping Agency (included the random blood test and urine sampling) for a month before the fight to happen.

According to Arum, Mayweather is just giving alibis so that the fight will not be realized since he is bloody scared to exchange punches with Pacqiuao .

Arum explained that anytime Pacqiuao can go for the urine testing but disagreed the thought that Pacqiuao will be under a random blood test since a tight training will be going on.

“Mayweather proves that he is a coward and he’s looking for a way out of the fight. The Nevada commission has been doing drug testing for the 40 years,” stated by Arum.

“To appease Mayweather, we agreed they could do urine analysis anytime they wanted, but Manny doensn’t want them to draw his blood when he’s in training because it weakens him”

Arum pointed out that there is nothing wrong for Pacqiuao to be under blood test before the training or, after the fight since the result will be the same.

Mayweather said the, he has a strong doubt about Pacqiuao’s ability.

The father and trainer of Mayweather was the one who strongly suggested the Olympic style drug test since he thought and strongly believed that Pacqiuao is using a steroid.

“I understand Pacqiuao not liking having his blood taken, because frankly I don’t know anyone who really does,” Mayweather emphasized.

“But in a fight of his magnitude, I think it is our responsibility to subject ourselves to sportsmanship at the highest level. I have already agreed to the testing and is a shame that he is not willing to do the same.”

I agree to that 100%! Just because Manny’s small, asian, and wasn’t well known but now is, doesn’t mean he can’t be unstoppable. I think Mayweather just can’t accept the fact that someone so much smaller might beat his ass. Manny’s heart is in the right place and he goes for what he wants even if he physically doesn’t look like a champion but he has the heart of a champion and that’s all that matters. Stop underestimating him! Mayweather, stop whining, and lets see a fight!

Pacquiao isn’t afraid of anything you imbicile! He is an athlete, and he is obviously refusing to something that limits his abilities! Stop being so ignorant, and realise that Mayweather is scared! He is asking for drug tests, and why do you think this is? He KNEW about Manny’s dislike for blood being taken out, as he was public about it! He is TRYING to find a reason not to have the fight, cause HE is scared! He doesn’t want that 40-1 record! Let’s be real, watch both of their fights, Manny has the speed, and the power to knock Mayweather out.
I’m sure if it were the standard testing, Manny has already said he is more than willing to participate, Mayweather is DRAMATIC, and plain SCARED.

You can’t run forever Pacman!!! You will feel the wrath of Mayweather. What does Pacman have to hide. Since he didn’t agree to the drug test it makes him look bad. If your not using steroids take the test and prove us all wrong. My little sister had her blood taken last week and she was just fine. Pacman’s refusal to have his blood taken for a drug test because it will weaken himself is absurd!!!
