Pacquiao vs Mayweather update:
Freddie Roach promised that Manny Pacquiao will not experience the same abuse as encountered by Juan Miguel Marquez made by Floyd Mayweather Jr.
During the interview by boxingscene.com, Roach told that he is preparing things that will make sure everything will be fine if ever Mayweather will do the same thing as before especially in terms of weight.
Roach experienced this kind of things many times to those boxers who act like and have a character of Mayweather wherein everything was settled but was not following on what was being included in the contract. And so he will not make this happen again.
Mayweather Jr already agreed the 147 lbs. that will be the catch weight against Pacquiao – who will gamble his WBO welterweight title being grabbed from Miguel Cotto last December 14 in Las Vegas.
On the other hand, Roach confirmed that Baguio City will still be the place during their first phase training in preparation for the biggest fight next year, March 14, 2010.
